[Women's Basketball] Sluggish start dooms Foresters

KOKOMO, Ind. – A sluggish start haunted the Forester women's basketball team Wednesday night at Cougar Gym. IU Kokomo ripped off the first 12 points of the game on the way to handing their guests a 62-47 loss.While HU played within three points of the Cougars after that, the early deficit proved too daunting with Anya Friend to blame. The 5-9 freshman scored nine of her team's first 12 points to serve as a one-person wrecking ball. Tia Chambers came to life after that to ensure the Cougars stayed on top.
