Allen’s Double-Double Leads DePaul in Loss to No. 21 Creighton

A 22-point, 10-rebound double-double from Jorie Allen led DePaul in a 75-68 setback to No. 21 Creighton on Saturday afternoon at Wintrust Arena.
 
Despite forcing the Bluejays into a season-high 18 turnovers, the Blue Demons could not overcome a hot shooting start from the visitors who shot 52-percent from behind the arc in the first half with nine three-pointers on 17 attempts.
 
Allen's 22 points marked a career-high for the graduate student while her 10 rebounds gave her the third double double of her career and second on the season. The Bedford, Ind. native scored 11 points in the third quarter alone.
