Barrera and Lagas Earn Major Awards as ECC Announces All-Conference Teams; Wall and Stanavich Tabbed First Team All-ECC

WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Mar. 7, 2024) – Mercy University women's basketball sophomore Angelina Barrera (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year, graduate student Katie Wall (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./Roy C. Ketcham) and junior Jaclyn Stanavich (Amsterdam, N.Y./Amsterdam) has been tabbed First Team All-Conference and Head Coach Scott Lagas has been named Coach of the Year, as announced by the conference office earlier today.
