Brooklyn Completes Season Sweep of York

BROOKLYN, New York —– Coming into Tuesday evening's doubleheader, the Brooklyn College softball team once again came face-to-face with the York College Cardinals, only this time it was a non-conference encounter at home. Despite the different environment, nothing much would change, as the Brooklyn College Bulldogs would play a perfect game in the first game of the doubleheader to win 8-0, and then proceed to decimate the Cardinals 13-0.

Both games would once again end in five innings, allowing the home team to sweep the season series, taking all four games regardless of the field. The York College Cardinals (4-14) continue to struggle overall, especially against a Brooklyn College Bulldogs (9-13) team seeking entry into the playoffs with a chance at the third seed.
