CNU Women's Tennis Snags Record Haul in 2024 C2C All-Conference Awards; Weis, Trate, Weiner Collect Major Awards

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Continuing to make history at a record pace in 2023-24, the Christopher Newport women's tennis team added another chapter to the storybook season on Wednesday afternoon as the Captains saw seven different players garner All-Conference recognition as announced by the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference. Headlining the group was junior Raine Weis collecting Player of the Year honors and, with partner Tessa Trate, Doubles Team of the Year accolades. Trate was also named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year and head coach David Weiner was named the C2C Coach of the Year for the first time.
