Darnell Haney Named Georgetown Women’s Basketball Head Coach

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University announced today that Darnell Haney has been named the head coach of its women's basketball program. Haney had led the Hoyas as an interim following the passing of Tasha Butts in October. It was announced following the BIG EAST Championship Game last week that he would be taking over the role on a permanent basis.
