Early Scoring Outburst Helps Baseball Advance in United East Tournament

The Lancaster Bible College Baseball team squared off against the number two-seed Penn St. Abington Lions on Friday afternoon, a team which they had seen five previous times winning one of those matchups. A 10 run first inning and strong defensive performance helped propel the Chargers to a 16-3 win over the Lions to advance to the winner's bracket on Saturday. The Chargers move to 21-15-1 overall while the Lions drop to 13-24 overall.
