FIU’s Jesyka Burks-Wiley honored as CUSA Coach of the Year to Headline Women’s Basketball Postseason Honors

DALLAS, Texas – FIU cleans up in the CUSA Postseason Awards, with seven different Panthers being honored with six awards. Sophomore Mya Kone has been awarded Sixth Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference, while head coach Jesyka Burks-Wiley wins her second Coach of the Year award. Junior Tanajah Hayes' performance this season rewards her with a place on the All-Defense Team as well as Second-Team All-Conference. Graduate student Kaliah Henderson also makes Second-Team All-Conference, while seniors Ajae Yoakum, Maria Torres, and graduate student Courtney Prenger receive All-Conference Honorable Mention.
