HSU Set For NCAA Tournament Game

Hardin-Simmons will open NCAA Tournament play on Friday at 5:30 p.m. against the University of the Redlands at Trinity University. The Cowgirls are 23-3 on the year and earned one of the 19 Pool C at-large bids into the NCAA Tournament. Redlands is 19-7 on the year and the Bulldogs won the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament last weekend. Trinity (26-1) and UT Dallas are also in the regional and will play at 8 p.m. on Friday. The two winners will play for a spot in the Sweet 16 on Saturday night at 8 p.m.
