Jenkins Named CUSA Pitcher of the Week After Combined No-Hitter

DBU's Jerrod Jenkins was named the Conference USA Pitcher of the Week after throwing 6.0 scoreless innings in a combined no-hitter with James Ellwanger on Sunday at FIU. Jenkins retired 15 consecutive batters and struck out a career-high nine batters in the Patriots' first no-hitter since February 25, 2006. Jenkins also recorded an immaculate inning in the bottom of the sixth, striking out the side on nine pitches.
