Late Cougars Women’s Basketball Run Falls Short in 84-76 Loss to Texas State in Second Round of FIU MTE Christmas Classic

The Chicago State women's basketball team trailed by double digits for much of the afternoon but a late 10-2 run cut the margin to six to get within striking distance in the final minutes and the Cougars had possession trailing by six with under two minutes to play but the Bobcats forced a turnover and Texas State made 12-of-13 free throws down the stretch to escape with an 84-76 victory.
