Miller Awarded Rookie of the Week for the Third Time in 2022-23

Freshman forward Olivia Miller was honored by the USA South Conference with her third Rookie of the Week selection of the 2022-23 season.

Miller, a native of Hudson, North Carolina, averaged 9.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game as the Tornados posted a 1-1 record against USA South competition. In a 92-62 loss to Greensboro, Miller scored six points with two rebounds, and one assist. In a 66-52 victory over Salem, Miller posted 13 points, seven rebounds, three steals, two blocks, and one assist.
