ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — After an early back-and-forth saw the score sitting at 4-3 after four and a half innings, a five-run fifth by the 20th-ranked North Carolina Wesleyan Battling Bishops (26-10) proved to be enough to pull away from the 11th-ranked Christopher Newport baseball team on Tuesday afternoon, 10-5. The Captains fall to 21-8 overall this season despite scoring runs in four innings and seeing seven different players log base hits in the game.
