Ransom Leads Georgetown Past Butler on Senior Day

WASHINGTON – Led by 31 points from senior Kelsey Ransom, the Georgetown University women's basketball team defeated the Butler University Bulldogs 70-63 on Saturday afternoon in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at McDonough Arena. It marked Georgetown's home finale for the regular season. With the win, the Hoyas improved to 18-10 on the season and 8-9 in league play, while the Bulldogs dropped to 13-14 for the year and 5-11 in the conference.
