Ransom Leads Hoyas Past Providence

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's basketball team used a fourth-quarter push to defeat the Providence College Friars 54-44 on Saturday evening in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at McDonough Arena. With the win, the Hoyas improve to 16-8 on the season and 6-7 in league play, while the Friars drop to 11-14 for the year and 5-7 in the conference.
