Stockings Wins Gold Glove Award

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Baseball postseason awards have been announced. Yotes shortstop Chandler Stocking won the Gold Glove Award for the shortstop position. The Yote defender led the Yotes with 22 double plays and was tied for sixth in the . His season fielding percentage was 94.6% and registered 78 put outs. He assisted on an additional 134 which was second best in the conference and only three behind the leader Youhyeon Choi of EOU. While recognized for defensive efforts, Stocking showed well offensively. His 40 runs scored this season placed him tied for thirteenth in the conference. He stole 14 bases which put him ninth in the conference, tied with teammate Kris Kirkpatrick.
