Street Secures Third Rookie of the Week Nod of 2022-23

Freshman guard Makayla Street was selected as the USA South Conference Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for the third time this season following a big performance in last Saturday’s 64-56 victory on the road at Methodist University.

Street, a first-year student from Rock Hill, South Carolina, scored a co-game high 17 points off the bench in the win over Methodist. Street also added a co-team-high seven rebounds with two assists and one steal in the victory.
