Taylor Wins Third ASUN Freshman of the Week Honor

ATLANTA – Forward Trynce Taylor was named Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Week for the third time this season, the league office announced Monday.

The Alpharetta, Ga. native had 10 points and three rebounds in KSU's regular-season finale victory over Queens Saturday where she made the 10th start of her rookie campaign at KSU. She shot 57.1% from the floor and added two steals to her ledger.

She now has 147 rebounds this season, the seventh-most by a freshman in Kennesaw State Division I history. She is also top 10 in blocks (14 – 10th) and steals (35 – ninth) among KSU DI freshmen.

Taylor becomes the second Owl freshman to win at least three Freshman of the Week awards, joining Amani Johnson. This was KSU's sixth weekly conference honor this season.
