Kansas State didn't play a perfect game in its nail-biting, thrilling 67-65 win against BYU on Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum. But K-State has that winning DNA. And K-State, just the second team to reach 20 wins this season, should be considered among the premier teams in America. The Wildcats are No. 4 in the AP Top 25 Poll and No. 2 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. The Wildcats own a 14-game winning streak, tied for the second-longest active winning streak in the country. And the Wildcats carry a mental maturity that could take them far into March Madness.
