Thomas Scores 1,000th Point as WBB Beats Blue Devils, 63-50

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Shark Sweep! The LIU women's basketball team swept the season series with Central Connecticut State Friday afternoon, beating the Blue Devils in Detrick Gymnasium, 63-50. The win wasn't the only thing the Sharks celebrated Friday, as junior Brandy Thomas became the 20th player in LIU women's basketball history to score her 1,000th career point.
