Three Knights Earn NEC Honors

BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- The 2023-24 season offered a near complete reset for the FDU women's basketball team. Not one starter nor the head coach returned from the 2022-23 team that captured the program's second-straight NEC regular season title. These factors stacked the odds against this year's club but under the tutelage of the freshly hired Stephanie Gaitley, the 2023-24 Knights responded exceptionally to this challenge. FDU went 11-5 in the NEC (13-16 overall) and earned the #3 seed in the upcoming NEC tournament. The team success has come, and now after the NEC announced the major award winners and All-NEC teams on Monday, the individual accolades have come too as three Knights were recognized by the conference for their outstanding seasons.
