Tornados Finish Strong to Earn Key Road Win at Methodist

The Brevard College women’s basketball team (14-8, 11-5 USAS) earned a hard-fought road win 64-57 over host Methodist (13-9, 9-7 USAS) on Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  The win snapped a four-game losing skid for Brevard which remains in the top four of the latest USA South Conference standings.

Freshman Makayla Street scored 17 points in 23 minutes off the bench to go along with seven rebounds.  Street sank a career-high nine free throws in ten attempts en route to her eighth double-digit scoring output of the season.
