Women's Basketball spoils Aquinas's fourth quarter comeback in a 78-75 victory

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –  It was a quick road trip for the Golden Eagles, as they traveled to Aquinas and came away with a win 78-75. The Golden Eagles used their strong third quarter, where they outscored the Saints 22-11, proved to be the difference maker in the game for Cornerstone. Olivia Kubik scored 18 first half points and finished with 21 points to lead the Golden Eagles as Stephanie Ainsworth chipped in 20 points and 15 rebounds. Women's Basketball moves to 14-12 (12-9) on the year as they face off against Rochester for the final game of the regular season on Saturday, February 24.
