[Women's Basketball] Third quarter rally comes up short against FHU

A cold first half made for a difficult road game Thursday for Georgetown College women's basketball. The Tigers (3-7, 2-6) traveled to Tennessee to take on Freed-Hardeman University. They scored just 17 points in the first half, but came to life in the third quarter. However, the Lions (10-10, 4-10) were able to hold off the rally and win 60-47.It was 46-41 entering the final 10 minutes. Lauren Boblitt scored off a turnover and pull the visitors to within three, but an 9-1 run over the next four minutes allowed FHU to stay ahead.Terri Abram, Maddie Burcham and Alexis Stapleton all came off the bench with eight points each. Boblitt had seven rebounds to go with her six points, while Callie Jackson had six rebounds.
