Women’s Basketball Travels to Massachusetts for NCAA Opening Weekend

On Monday afternoon, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the field for the 2024 Division III Women's Basketball Tournament. The Messiah women's basketball team will head to Northampton, Mass. and will face the Hornets of Shenandoah University in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. Messiah and Shenandoah will be joined by the host Smith College Pioneers and the Maine Maritime Mariners.
 
The Falcons and the Hornets will play at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by Smith taking on Maine Maritime at 7:00 p.m. The winners of each matchup will face off on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. for a chance to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
