[Women's Basketball] White scores 30 in win over No. 24 Wildcats

Stopping a skid is not easy. It takes heart, hard work and focus. Georgetown College women's basketball showed all three against Bethel University Monday in Georgetown. The Tigers (2-6, 1-5) held a 14-point lead midway through the second quarter. However, the No. 24 Wildcats (8-7, 3-5) were not going to go quiet. It was a battle in the fourth with GC coming out on top 66-64.The Tigers battled through foul trouble, bangs, blood and bruises to come out on top. Lead the charge was Grace White with a game and new career-high 30 points. Three of which came the old fashion way in the final 10 seconds to give the home team the lead for good. The senior also added the defensive block on the ensuing BU possession that allowed her team to salt the game away from the line.
