Women's Basketball's Late Rally Falls Just Short in Loss at Alvernia
READING, Pa. – Trailing by as many as 19 points on Wednesday night at Jack McCloskey Court, Eastern Women's Basketball mounted a furious fourth quarter comeback, but ultimately fell to the Alvernia Golden Wolves 67-64. The Eagles had the game tied at 59-59 with 2:06 remaining and were within one in the final 12 seconds, but Alvernia's Jordan Karmonick hit six critical free throws down the stretch the secure the victory.
