Women's Soccer Shuts Out Fourth-Straight Adversary; Buries Miners

LEBANON, Ill. | Leemon Field – McKendree University women's soccer collected a fourth-straight shut out victory on Friday evening with a 1-0 win over Missouri S&T, improving to 5-0-4 and 5-0-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Bearcats got a massive boost with the game-winning score from sophomore forward Maddie Mauch and the in-goal performance from junior goalkeeper Peyton Baker, propelling the Bearcats to the top of the GLVC standings mid-way through the fall campaign. McKendree remains at home for its next bout with Lincoln (MO) coming to Leemon Field on Sunday, October 5 at 12:00PM.
