Yotes Stumble to Start CCC Tourney

KLAMATH FALLS, Oreg – The nationally ranked #15 College of Idaho held the #3 seed going into the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament and fell to #6 seed Carroll College 3-1. The upset marked the first time in program history that Carroll won a game in the tournament. The Yotes will have to rebound quickly tomorrow to progress as they are one loss away from being eliminated from the double-elimination tournament. They will face the loser of host CCC top seed #5 Oregon Tech or fourth seed #17 Southern Oregon. The Yotes were swept at OIT earlier in the season and won the series 2-1 hosting against SOU.
