Burch scores 12 consecutive third-quarter points to finish with 16 as UDM falls at Purdue Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (2-18-24) – Sophomore Amaya Burch scored 12 consecutive third-quarter points finishing with 16 on 6-of-10 shooting, 2-for-4 from 3-point range, and 2-for-2 from the free throw line to pull Detroit Mercy to a three-point deficit at the end of the frame at 61-58. However, the Titans' offense stalled in the fourth quarter leading to a 77-67 setback at Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday afternoon at the Gates Sports Center.
