Eggers Earns All-AEC Second Team Honors As League Releases Major Awards

Lancaster, Pa. – (2/27/2024) – Honoring the league's top regular-season performers, Commissioner Jessica Huntley has officially released the members of the All-Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Basketball Team and major award winners for the 2023-2024 season. Marymount University senior guard Chandler Eddleton (Richmond, Va.) was named the AEC Player of the Year, while the league's Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year titles were respectively awarded to Immaculata University senior guard Tessa Liberatoscioli (Malvern, Pa.) and Centenary University (NJ) freshman forward Vatijah Davis (Poconos, Pa.). Her coaches, Head Coach Rose Haller, Assistant Coach Nancy Keough, Assistant Coach Aniah Ellerbee, and student managers Hannah Nole and Austin Barlow were recognized as the AEC Coaching Staff of the Year. Marymount University sophomore forward Emily Knabel (Midlothian, Va.) (4.0, Criminal Justice (Spanish)) was recognized for having the highest cumulative grade-point average (GPA) at the finals site with the AEC Elite 20 Award.
