Three Griffins Named to 2023-2024 CSC NCAA DIII Women’s Basketball Academic All-District Team

Greenwood, Ind. – (3/27/2024) – Gwynedd Mercy University seniors, Ava Casale (Washington Township, N.J.) and Natalie O'Neill (Philadelphia, Pa.) as well as junior Alexis Eagan (Drexel Hill, Pa.) were recognized as some of the Nation's top student-athletes with their selection to the 2023-2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team (.PDF). The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the Nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and maintained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) while competing in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests/sets played or starting at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets.
