Griffins Finish Conference Play With A Win At The Pacers

Scranton, Pa. – (2/14/2024) – Gwynedd Mercy University (9-15, 2-8) traveled to Marywood University (8-15, 2-8) playing their final Atlantic East Conference (AEC) opponent of the 2024 season. With the Pacers getting the better of the Griffins at the Griffin Complex 79-69 (Jan. 24, 2024), Gwynedd Mercy evened the series with Marywood as they won the contest 77-46. Once again not a single player on the opposing team could stop senior guard Lynzie Eggers (Washington Township, N.J.) as Eggers finished 12-of-25 (48%) from the floor with a game-high 28 points, five rebounds, three assists, a block, and a steal. Eggers got the ball rolling for the Griffins just 22 seconds into the contest giving the Griffins an early 2-0 lead and would not lose the lead for the rest of the game.
