KSU Clinches ASUN Tourney Spot; Falls to JU Thursday Night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A ferocious fourth-quarter rally from Kennesaw State (10-17, 6-8 Atlantic Sun Conference) came up just short against Jacksonville (9-17, 5-8 ASUN), 70-59, Thursday night inside Swisher Gymnasium.

Taylor Cullinan scored a career-best nine points, all on shots from beyond the arc in 16 minutes of action. She also added six rebounds, two assists and one block to her stat line.

Leading the Black and Gold in scoring was Keyarah Berry with 13. It was her 10th game at KSU in double figures and fourth in the last six games.

Following the Owls' contest, Queens defeated North Florida, allowing the Black and Gold to clinch a spot in the 2024 Atlantic Sun tournament. 2023-24 marks the final season for KSU in the ASUN before moving to Conference USA on July 1.
