Moorehead Pours in Career-High 18 Points as Detroit Mercy Comes Up Short at Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (2-22-24) – Senior Jada Moorehead caught fire in the second quarter going a perfect 5-for-5 from the field connecting on consecutive and-1 layups and hitting both ensuing free throw opportunities to score 12 of her career-high 18 points and as Detroit Mercy battled to the end before coming up short at Milwaukee on Thursday Night. For the game, Moorehead went 6-for-12 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line with seven rebounds and two assists.
