Titans Outlast IUPUI to Snap Skid

DETROIT (2-29-24) – Senior Irene Murua broke out of her three-game scoring slump in a major way matching a season-best 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting and 4-of-5 from the free throw line with six rebounds and a block to lead Detroit Mercy to a 64-59 win over IUPUI in the Annual Pink Game on Thursday night at Calihan Hall. With the win, the Titans snapped a four-game skid and have a chance to secure the No. 4 seed in the upcoming 2024 #HLWBB Championships if they can defeat Wright State on Senior Day in the regular season finale on Saturday, Mar, 2 at 1 p.m.
