[Women's Basketball] Lady Bulldogs Top OLLU In Shootout

The Lady Bulldogs took home the win (100-87) over the visiting Our Lady of the Lake University Saints on Saturday afternoon at the Rand Center.  In a game that included several lead changes, Jarvis Christian College managed to outshoot OLLU from the 3-point line 50% to OLLU's 25%.  The Lady Bulldogs also shot 54% from the field and 58% from the charity line. A clear advantage in rebounds fell in the hands of Jarvis 45 times as opposed to OLLU's 33 rebounds. Brianna Page led the Lady Bulldogs with 34 points, including (7 out of 8) from behind the 3 point line.  Joi Reed scored 22 points and Makaila Cheatem tossed in 19 points.  Tianie Johnson dominated the glass with 12 rebounds, along with 4 points and 1 block. Jarvis Christian College will be back in action on Tuesday Feb 9th, as they play host to Red River Conference opponent University of the Southwest.  Tip-Off time is scheduled for 5:30pm and will be live streamed at the Rand Center.
