ESU Announces Changes in Women's Basketball Leadership

EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University women's basketball head coach Stephanie Del Preore will not return in 2024-25, the University announced on Wednesday morning.

ESU finished this past season with a 10-18 record (8-14 PSAC) and a fifth place finish out of eight schools in the PSAC East standings.

"We've made a decision to take the women's basketball program in a different direction," said Dr. Allen Snook, ESU Director of Athletics. "Coach Del Preore was informed on Tuesday that her contract will not be renewed. We thank her for her years of service to ESU and wish her the best in her future endeavors."

A national search for ESU's next women's basketball head coach will begin immediately.
