Women’s Basketball Drops PSAC First Round Game at Millersville

MILLERSVILLE – The fifth-seeded East Stroudsburg University women's basketball team saw its 2023-24 campaign come to an end on Monday night as fourth-seeded Millersville handed the Warriors a 59-52 loss in a PSAC Tournament first round game inside Pucillo Gymnasium.  

The Warriors finished their 97th season in program history 10-18 overall and 8-14 in the PSAC while the Marauders (13-16, 10-12) advanced to face top-seeded Lock Haven on Wednesday night in the PSAC Quarterfinals.

ESU entered the fourth quarter leading Millersville by one point (41-40) but were outscored over the final 10 minutes by eight points (19-11).

Seniors Carley Adams, who missed today's game, Leah Pishock and Gwenn Sabato played their final game in an ESU uniform. Sabato registered 11 points, three rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes while Pishock added two rebounds and one assist in her second straight start.
